i feel like i'm 14.

i really didn't get it

i'd roll my eyes at all the blogs i'd read talking about the vampire books

then i got free tickets to new moon.

i made jonny watch twilight with me, and we went to see new moon.

i decided to read the books and was done in 5 short days

i loved it

i used to hate admitting it, i'd justify my reasons every time it came up

but i'm over it

i am totally and completely in love with twilight

& eclipse last night was great.

he's adorable, and he's a pain in the neck already!

poor mr. holt has been up all night the past 2 nights with a whiney, howling dog.

he strongly dislikes his crate, and isn't afraid to let the whole town know about it.

but he's cute, so we forgive him, and love him anyway.

at least we weren't the only ones

our first and only (so far) walk on the beach. mazatlan has a major jelly fish issue this time of year, but miles got new sand toys, so we're taking our chances tomorrow.

here's a few pictures from our first 2 days in mexico

mazatlan, mexico

so, most of you know our engagement story...sitting on the couch one day, and decided to get married. (romantic, i know) but that same night, we picked the date of the wedding because we knew we wanted to do it 1. before utah gets too hot and the green mountains turn to brown mountains. 2. after our trip to zion's. 3. before our trip to mexico. it really only left one weekend open, and it turned out to be the perfect one.

we knew we'd never be able to take a 10 day vacation again this year with our work schedules, so we decided to make our mexico trip our honeymoon.

we are going with my grandparents, my parents, miles and my aunt, uncle & cousin that live in CA, it's going to be SO fun. we were lucky enough to be gifted (thanks grandma) a 2 night stay at zermatt resort in midway after the wedding, so we got in all the relaxing we need and now we're just excited to spend time with family and lay around by the beach!

this is our hotel, our family has been coming here as long as i can remember...it'll be my 4th time, but i'm excited to share this place with jonathan & miles.
